Price

In business and enterprise, we are looking at selling our product for $2, I will go into an explanation into why I am going to sell it at this price. Basically, we chose the price we did because it seemed cheap and way less than actual yo-yo's which are built out of metal and plastic.

We have agreed on selling it for $2 because of the fact that it is made out of sustainable cardboard, which can be disposed of. From a few sites which we have looked at, they have had been selling at the lowest price of $4.50 and $30 at most. So having $2 which is half of the cheapest on the site price's is a good price because it's environmentally sustainable and cheap.

Our price is worth it because its cheap, $2! That is some cash anyone can spare, plus with how you can get rid of it so easily because it's made out of cardboard, something which can be recycled easily. Who wouldn't want something that has a small fee and is disposable?

pita pockets

Today in Foods tech, We made a peter pocket. This was our first practical this term and we picked our own groups, in our groups we Gathered our ingredients and they were, Carrot, Cheese, Sauces, Ham, Onion and Tomato. We first got the actual bread/pocket and cut it up so only our hand can fit in, we did this because we need to put ingredients inside of it. when we filled all inside we added textures to make it look good, Our finished product tasted Good and I liked mine because the sauce made it not dry, I highly recommend trying to make one for yourself, its really good for Lunch or just a snack on the go.

Apple Muffins

Ingredients-

Sugar, apple sauce, Wholemeal flour, Soy Milk, Oats

Taste-

In my opinion, when we made the apple muffins it tasted dry and didn't really want to go for more. We had to try everyone's made muffins and they all tasted the same anyway we all made a different type of muffins with different ingredients and the best tasting was the original flavoured one. I think sticking with the original is a better idea.

What we needed to work on-

What we needed to work on is remembering the ingredients because we missed the sugar which made it a  lot less sweet And we put it inside of the oven for too long.

Looks-

The looks were alright and looked all the same, except for the dry ones.

The Marketing Mix (Price)

In business and enterprise, we are looking at selling our product for $2, I will go into an explanation into why I am going to sell it at this price. Basically, we chose the price we did because it seemed cheap and way less than actual yo-yo's which are built out of metal and plastic.

How did you work out what price you were going to sell your product at?

We have agreed on selling it for $2 because of the fact that it is made out of sustainable cardboard, which can be disposed of. From a few sites which we have looked at, they have had been selling at the lowest price of $4.50 and $30 at most. So having a $2 which is half of the cheapest on the sites price's is a good price because it's environmentally sustainable and cheap.

How will you ensure that our product is worth the price you are asking people to pay (quality control)?

Our price is worth it because its cheap, $2! That is some cash anyone can spare, plus with how you can get rid of it so easily because it's made out of cardboard, something which can be recycled easily. Who wouldn't want something that has a small fee and is disposable?

Mac & Cheese

In-home economics we made Mac & cheese it was an easy recipe but it was difficult as we had different people in our group and we didn't cooperate much. we stuffed up the meal but it was mad with ham, tomato, cheese, onion.  the cheese sauce wasn't good as it became chunkey and tasted not to good.

sustainability finale blog post

In the initial week of sustainability/mathematics, we were introduced to sustainability and looked at 3D videos of sustainability. the next week we studied the Statistical Inquiry and how to acquire a primary maths tool that we will be using during this hurumanu. in the third week, we did some work in Natural Resources & Sustainability. Then we did some writing on the issues of sustainability. Then week five we research on Sustainability Issues.

from week 6-8 we studied a topic and made a board game the board game we made was titled Society Endangered. the game was based on gumption and had similar rules as gumption. I designed the logo and helped with the board. we have two logos to choose from.

this was a busy but successful hurumanu and was a fun/ challenging one we had a good amount of maths and sustainability.

Stir frying

Home economics we Created Stir fry which is basically cooking chicken, noodles, and vegetables altogether, and for the flavor, you can add honey. The Product that we made I probably rate it a 5 out of 10 because it was and it was kinda dry and also we could have added more vegetables. Ingredients we used were Noodles, Chicken, and a ton of different vegetables. If I remade it I would add more flavor to make it that every bite gets a taste of it also I might add a little more honey. Here was our finished product.
