Phobias

Phobias-
Phobias mean an intense fear of something which leads you to avoid it as much as you can some common phobias are-


  • Arachnophobia (fear of spiders)
  • acrophobia (fear of heights)
  • Hydrophobia (fear of water)
  • ophidiophobia (fear of snakes)
Some odd phobias are-
  • Anatidaephobia(fear of being watched by a duck) this is not technically a phobia but it is a real fear but not taken seriously as phobias are extreme fears but the is a real fear.
  • Nephophobia (fear of clouds)
  • pogonophobia (fear of beards)
  • onomatophobia, fear of names
You can manage phobias by facing your fear and seeing that it’s harmless and or safe. If you’re arachnophobic let a spider on your or look at a spider but don’t panic cause it could lead to a panic attack.
