The amazing view

this was a story about a picture of an island and this is what I came up with and in the comments tell me the best paragraph.

As I view the mountains the clear sky shining with beautiful sunbeams makes me grin. With a turn of my head, the shocking view of the deep ocean filled me with delight. as I looked down the clean bushes made me satisfied. As I looked again and took it all in my face lightened up with glee.

As I leave my room I breathe in the lovely air when I hear my name. Jake Jackson come down here as I went down to say hello I was greeted with some pancakes my favourite. after the pancakes, I went for a swim the best thing to do in this amazing sun but a beached shark laying on the beach.

as I ran and got a wet towel the shark started to struggle. When the towels were on it started to relax until we started to push. It got irritated and tried to wriggle away but the in-progress it slipped and made it easy it push. when it had got to the water it had peacefully raced away.

when I woke up I heard the voice kids saying it's back but. this time I had to go to work I put the towels back on left it there. went to work and hoped they had it under control. I heard on the radio a shark had died but the radio stopped. and never knew if it was the same one.

playing to win

the final section of playing to win starts off by todd doing something with the brakes in Denny's car. Denny chased him down to the field and started to choke him and they had to go to the principal's office.

after a teacher checked Denny's car and had confirmed he had done something to the car todd got punished by his parents but the school only
gave him a suspension and his parents gave Denny todds car until he got his one fixed.

I think this section is interesting because it shows how Denny finally stood up for himself when todd had repeatedly annoyed him to get a reaction from him.

P.E update

In P.E we learnt drills warm-ups and how to play bench ball the warm-ups were star jumps, runs, high knees, squats, then we played sneak up on granny for a drill the warm-ups and drill were really easy. because it was a game that required to walk/run at a different velocity for a slight moment. I did enjoy playing bench ball but it got hard when we had played it on a large scale the games we had.
yr 7 vs yr 7
yr 8 vs yr 8
yr 7 vs yr 8
We also did some P.E based math stuff like measuring football fields and how much money it would cost to paint the fields. The maths was a medium bit too easy I learned how to measure on a big scale. My strategies are to work it out in my head and then put it down on the paper and check with my group.

TerraCycle

During the last week, we have been making DLO regarding TerraCycle and recycling.
we are planning to increase awareness through making posters and DLO on the HHS Facebook and Hornby primary and Hornby high.

We are obtaining Pens, mechanical pencils, twink (empty),  gel pens, highlighters, whiteboard markers,   including any other stationery beside pencils, rubbers,

Think Hornby primary and some other schools and preschools will and maybe some big businesses that use a lot of pens

Volleyball

Today in P.E we have been practising about the chosen sport
my sport is Volleyball we had to do our drills/exercises

Exercise 1:

Get a partner and a volleyball. For this exercise, you need to stand across each other and practices hitting the ball we will teach you how to hit the ball. Make sure to aim a little high when you hit so you can practice hitting the ball over the net.

Exercise 2:
Serving - The next exercise we will be teaching you will be how to serve in Volley. For this, you will require a group of two so in pairs. You will try serving over a net. The aim is to have a serve that land in the other person's hands.

I say in this lesson we did ok the reason it's only ok is that nobody was agreeing and everyone was
frustrated

Monster Hunt

for art, we are making a clay stop motion here is my script.

MONSTER HUNT

In 1997 there was a monster village where only monsters were allowed.
They had picnics and played games, but not all monsters are
Happy but two monsters changed their minds, Hank and Jacob.
The bad monsters will hide in trees and will pounce at the food and then go to the next

the two monsters grabbed their opportunity when they could and ran in as soon he left but there was no food there so they went the next day and the next but the food just disappeared. They tried and tried until one day they stop him in his tracks. they talked and talked then he gave the food up so

Jacob and Hank gave the food back to the village. The village gave them half of the food. on their way home, they heard a cry so they dashed to the cry. they saw the monster sitting with two crying babies waiting for some food so Hank and Jacob gave the monster dad the food that the village gave to them. now three years later the “bad monster” is now living a happy life with a happy family and his name is Cleatus.
